Hi, I'm Rob, the owner-operator of K2 Tree Service. I started out in pharmaceuticals and was a manufacturing planning/project manager for almost 10 years. At the same time, I was rock and mountain climbing, and more. After summiting Everest, I realized I no longer wanted to work at an inside office but to work outside with my hands.
Naturally, I gravitated towards tree work because there are a lot of similarities between rock climbing and working in trees: the rope work, operating off the ground, etc. I worked for a few companies as a tree climber while getting my arborist certification, learning the techniques and business along the way. I eventually concluded that I could provide a higher level of service if I went out on my own.
I love what I do and am actively involved in the day-to-day operations, which means you get a
certified arborist overseeing or executing your Colorado tree service. Through our service excellence and customer care, K2 Tree Service has quickly risen to the top of the industry. Each member of our tree care team has
over 10 years
of experience. We welcome your questions and will provide prompt answers. We guarantees your complete satisfaction and exceptional results.
K2 Services are experts at tree and shrub removal in the Greater Denver area. You should never attempt to remove trees alone because of the dangers involved. Therefore, trust us to remove dead and dying trees and shrubs from your property to keep bugs and pests away. We have the tools and knowledge to do the job right the first time.
Trees need pruning about every three years, but many different factors must be considered, including species, time of year and desired outcome. For example, cottonwood trees can be pruned year round while fruit trees should be pruned while they’re dormant. Therefore, you should leave this task to the experts at K3 Tree Services.
We have years of experience inspecting trees to determine what makes them sick. In the Greater Denver area, if the tree is about 15 years old, Cytospora canker disease is often the culprit. There can be other issues, including powdery mildew, aphids, fire blight and anthracnose. After correctly diagnosing the problem, we can suggest a treatment.

Rob was wonderful. They took care of removing my big apple tree and it looks great! I even threw some extra stump work at the last minute and they handled it with ease. Great company! Definitely will refer this business!
